There's much to see here. So, take your time, look around, and learn all there is to know about us. We hope you enjoy our site and take a moment to drop us a line. We are still developing programs and are hoping to extend our reach beyond Georgia soon.
We strive to work with athletes from all sports and all levels to help children thrive in our communities. We are working on our new grounds in Gainesville, GA to offer access to children of all ages and needs.
We are currently updating our facility to include an Olympic size riding arena and horse stables to help children with Equine therapy. Equine therapy has been known to help with multiple benefits for physical and emotional well being.
We strive to work with other nonprofits and affiliates that focus on specific causes related to children. Our goals are to expand our outreach to multiple organizations and provide a consistent steam of support through Athletes for Children to these organizations.
Whether you're a current or previous college, Olympic, professional or amateur athlete, your experience and dedication to your sport inspires others, especially children. Children thrive when they have role models to look up to and sports happens to be a catalyst for developing confidence, among other positive qualities, which can help children through adversity.

We can also accept charitable remainder trusts which help you with a larger upfront deduction and can provide payments to you based on the sales of the donated asset.
* A central idea of a charitable remainder trust is to reduce taxes. This is done by first donating assets into the trust and then having it pay the beneficiary for a stated period of time. Once this time-frame expires, the remainder of the estate is transferred to the charities deemed as beneficiaries.
Charitable remainder trusts are irrevocable. This means that they cannot be modified or terminated without the beneficiary's permission. The grantor or trustor, having transferred assets into the trust, effectively removes all of her rights of ownership to the assets and the trust upon creation of its irrevocable status. In contrast, a revocable, allows the grantor modifications.
This charitable giving strategy also enables people to pursue philanthropic goals while still generating income. In addition to tax management charitable remainder trusts can offer benefits for retirement and estate planning. (Investopedia.com ) (Kagan)
